Dionne Machingura Toddler Teacher

Dionne was born in Zimbabwe but later moved to South Africa. After High School, she worked in hospitality and retail as she figured out what she wished to do. She began helping a family friend at their Pre School and it was there she discovered her passion.

Dionne completed her Montessori Diploma and has worked in South Africa with children ranging from 6 months to 18 years. Other than her love to teach, she loves to learn from her colleagues and the children, and she’s currently completing a B.A in English and French literature.

Dionne moved to Cayman to be closer to her family and embrace the pace of life here.

Dionne speaks 5 languages, and her hobbies are reading, crafts and hoarding!

Since joining Island Montessori, Dionne has truly embraced the diverse community and she is excited to grow alongside them.
